Closed top closures with different septa materials for sample storage. 9 mm screw cap suitable for almost all auto samplers due to its design in form of a crimp cap. Thread design not standardized; avoid mixture of vials and caps from different sources. Bonded colures with firmly to the cap connected septa for Waters and other auto samplers with penetration problems, especially in HPLC. For all auto samplers/robotic systems transporting vials by a magnet, 702155 / 702156 with a magnetic top on the PP cap should be used. Septa material used for the production of the N 9 screw closures has – aside from physical inspection – also been tested analytically. Red Rubber / FEP septum for routine analyses; for more demanding analyses: high purity silicone / PTFE septa. Slit silicone/PTFE septa as a penetration aid for thick / blunt HPLC needles. Packed with 100 pieces in a resalable, tamper-evident zip-lock bag.
